Adding an Ad to Your Watchlist

1. Browse listings on Gumtree.
2. Click the heart icon ❤️ on the right-hand side of the ad.
3. The heart will turn red when it’s successfully saved.
4. Your ad is now stored in your Watchlist.

 

Viewing Your Watchlist

1. Sign into Gumtree
2. Click on your name in the top right
3. Click on Watchlist from the drop-down menu



Managing Your Watchlist

- To remove an ad: 
From the listings - Click on the red heart again, and it will turn white
From the Watchlist page - Click on the X icon to the right of the ad
- Expired or deleted ads will be removed from your Watchlist
- There is currently a limit of 100 ads that can be saved at a time

Tip: Remove ads you're no longer interested in to keep your Watchlist easy to browse

- Keep track of rare or limited ads you don't want to lose
- Save time searching by revisiting ads directly
- Stay organised when planning a purchase

Troubleshooting

Ads not saving
- Make sure cookies are enabled (if not signed in)

Watchlist items not visible on another device
- Ensure you're signed into the same Gumtree account across all devices

FAQ

Q: What happens if an ad I saved is removed?
A: It will disappear from your Watchlist

Q: Will I get alerts if a seller updates their ad?
A: Not at the moment. Check back regularly for updates.

Q: Can I use my Watchlist on the Gumtree app?
A: Yes! Your Watchlist syncs across devices when you're logged into your account.

Q: Can sellers see if I've added their ad to my Watchlist?
A: No. Your Watchlist is private and only visible to you.
