1. Option to Rate another user is not visible
NOTE: The option to rate another user becomes visible only once each has sent three or more messages in Gumtree Messenger.
2. Unable to open app after updating
This can be resolved by completely uninstalling the app, then re-downloading it. If you are using a Samsung device, be sure to download the app directly from the Google Play Store, instead of the Samsung app store.
3. Unable to download new app, device incompatible
The Gumtree app requires iOS 15 or Android 10 and later. Older versions of the app are unfortunately not available.
If updating your operating system is impossible due to the age of your device, then please consider using Gumtree through the browser on your phone.
4. Car ad filters not updated in a Saved Search

5. Receiving an error when trying to pay for a feature or listing fee
This can be resolved by clearing your cookies and cache. You can find more information on how to do this here
6. Mobile app UI blocked by navigation buttons
This has been fixed in our latest app version, be sure to update.
7. Unable to view all your ads on Android
This has been fixed in our latest app version, be sure to update.
8. Unable to update account phone number
Note that as we do not permit the use of multiple accounts, your phone number can only be verified to a single account.
