I'm having a location or map issue with my Ad



Gumtree offers a map service provided my Google Maps. When creating your ad, you may place your street address or suburb in the 'Map Address' field so that other users can see the location associated with your ad.

The more information provided in the 'Map Address' field, the more accurate Google Maps will be at pointing to your address.

Ideally you should include your street address, suburb, and postcode; however if you are not comfortable with making your full address visible on the site you can just post an ad displaying your suburb and postcode only.

My correct location is not sticking to my ad

After you post your ad, if you notice that the location has jumped to a different place that you didn’t want, you can go back and edit your ad to adjust the “location thread” shown below. We also suggest including your post code whenever possible to help guide our system to the correct location.
