Will my email address, phone number, and street address be visible on my ad?

The email address you use to post your Ad will not be visible in your Ad or replies, unless you choose to type it in the body of your Ad or provide it to the person you're sending a message to.

It is completely optional to provide a phone number in your Ad. If you do not include a phone number, all messages will be received through Gumtree's messaging system.

Similarly, you do not need to enter your home address. We do require a general address so that your Ad will be placed in the correct area; but this could be as general as your state and post code if you prefer.

Please keep in mind that if you do type in your phone number and/or street address, these details will be publicly available on your Ad.
