- If your password contains one or more numbers or special characters (i.e. $, >, *, @), the minimum length required for your password is 10 characters.
- If your password only contains letters, the minimum length required for your password is 20 characters.
We recommend creating a unique password or passphrase that does not include any information directly related to you, such as a birthday, address, maiden name, etc.
You may also want to consider using a passphrase rather than a password. Passphrases are generally considered a safer option for several reasons, including:
- Passwords are easier to crack than passphrases due to the number of characters used.
- Passphrases are easier to remember than a password containing a mix of symbols and letters. Please note that Passphrases can contain symbols but are not required.
An example of a passphrase might be a line from a song you like, or a sentence from your favourite book.
If you have forgotten your password, you can find more information here about how to reset your password.
