How do I change my email address?



 
If you are a registered user and would like to change your email address you can do this by following the steps below:
  • Go to your Profile Settings page via My Gumtree > Profile Settings. Please use the web or mobile web as this option is not yet available on the apps.
  • Scroll down to Change Email Address, enter your new email address twice and save the changes.
  • A confirmation email will be sent to your new and old address, please follow the instructions provided.
If you are receiving an error when attempting to change your email, please note the following:
  • There is a 24 hour cooldown window between email changes. If you've already changed your email, you'll have to wait 24 hours before you can do so again.
  • You cannot change your account to an email address that already exists on our files.

Please also double check your new email inbox and spam folder to see if we already sent you an email. If the error persists and you haven't received an email, please contact our help desk.
