How do I delete my account?

We're sorry to see you go! If you've decided to delete your Gumtree account, you’ll need to submit a deletion request through our Help Desk, using the Email option.

IMPORTANT: Account deletion is permanent. All your ads, messages, and data will be removed and cannot be recovered.

To proceed, you can follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Gumtree Help Centre
   Visit: https://help.gumtree.com.au/
2. Click on “Contact Us”
3. Select a Topic
   Choose “Data Deletion/Close my account” from the list of topics.
4. Click “I need to contact support”
   This will open a support request form.
5. Fill out the form
   Provide the required details associated with your Gumtree account (including your registered email address).
6. Click “Next”
7. Select “Click to Email”
   This will generate an email to our support team with your request.

Once we receive your request, our team will follow up with you to verify your details and process the deletion. You'll receive an email notifying you once the deletion is complete.
