The settings are different depending on the browser. So please check your browser and the version and apply it correctly.
Firefox
- On a Windows PC, go to Tools> Options
- On a Macintosh, select from the right-hand top corner menu and click Preferences.
- Click "Content" tab
- Tick "Enable Javascript"
- OK to close the window
- Refresh the firefox
Safari
- On a Macintosh, from the Safari menu, select Preferences.
- Click Security
- Ensure ‘Web content: Enable Javascript’ is on
- On a Windows PC, from the right-hand side top corner pull-down menu which looks like a gear, select Preferences.
- Click Security.
- In the Security dialog box, select the Enable Plug-Ins, Enable Java, and Enable JavaScript checkboxes.
- Make sure the Block pop-up windows checkbox is not selected.
Chrome
- On a Windows PC and Macintosh, select Customise and control Google Chrome ( to the right of the address bar
- Select Settings from the drop-down menu
- Select Privacy and security…
- Select Site settings
- Scroll down to Content and ensure ‘Sites can use Javascript’ is switched on
