Gumtree
A platform fee applies when you pay via Gumtree Pay:
Buyer
A platform fee of 3% of the transaction total applies, with a minimum cap of $1 and a maximum cap of $200. The transaction total is the item price plus any shipping cost. This is automatically collected when you make a payment and includes GST.
If you pay with PayTo, you get a 90% discount on the platform fee, so you pay 0.3% of the transaction total. The $1 minimum cap still applies.
There is no surcharge on any payment method.
Seller
Gumtree Pay is free for sellers. There is no platform fee, and you receive the full amount you and the buyer agreed upon, including any shipping cost you charged.
